• What does HLB stand for?
    • Indirectly answering the question, HLB Studios is Heather Bennett's business for distributing her artwork. You can guess at where the H and B come from, but her middle initial remains a mystery.
  • Who runs HLB Studios?
    • The artwork, designs, tape tearing, and important work are all done by Heather Bennett. The website is done by Teran McKinney.
  • How does the local delivery shipping work?
    • Local delivery allows for orders to be delivered directly to you (at no cost), or possibly picked up at a local venue. Note that for multiple reasons, we will not delivery directly to a venue or house we would not be going to anyways. However, if you attend the same church or classes at AB Tech, please ask us before hand (we would link you to the contact form, but usually you should already know how to contact us directly for this to work), and confirm if this is possible. Local delivery is only available directly through Heather.
  • What does this site run on?
    • A hearty mix of Drupal and third-party modules. See the site information page if you are still curious.
  • "Your HTTPS/SSL is insecure and unverified!", or "Order pages don't work, what's wrong?"
    • We actually do have a CA-signed SSL certificate, just that it seems to be that your browser does not accept it. We use Startcom as our Certificate Authority, which was not installed by default in Internet Explorer until September, 2009, when it was released as an optional update for Windows XP and later (thus, you would have to download the update for it to work). Non-IE browsers should be just fine since most already have Startcom installed by default. In simpler terms, click this link so that you can order things from this site (if you are having trouble), if you are not interested in an alternative browser.
  • How long does it take to make a wallet?
    • About fourty-five minutes. Heather has made dozens of wallets and is quite fast, yet it still is difficult work and even takes her some time. After being made, the wallet must be compressed with a heavy weight (by placing a book on it, for example) for a few hours so it can keep its fold.
  • What kind of tape do you use?
    • Glad you asked. We are currently using Shurtape PC-600 tape. See the revisions page for more information of that nature
  • Is HLB Studios on Facebook?
    • Yes, you can find our Facebook page here :-).
  • My question isn't answered here, where can I ask it?
    • See the contact page. Thanks for your interest, but we are sorry the question wasn't answered here. We'll do our best to answer your question, and perhaps post it on the site (without your name and such).
