Hey everyone,

Well, thanks to Doug we have just perfected our design for tri-fold wallets! So now, if you are bored of regular bi-fold wallets, need a little more card room, or any other reason, you can order a tri-fold wallet for only $5 more than a bi-fold.

The tri-folds have the same options the bi-fold does.

The difference between this wallet option and our original is mainly more space. On the left side of the interior we have 3, vertical, card holders; in the middle we have 1 vertical card holder, with the left and right sides (of the card holder) un-ducttaped; and on the right side we have 3 *more* vertical card holders available for use. The bill area is extended so that your money has room to stretch out and put its feet up.

I hope that you find my wallets to be satisfactory and please feel free to contact me to tell me how you think we could make our website, wallets, customer service, etc. better. We would love to hear from you. Hope you enjoy, don't forget to tell me about yourself too.

Have a great day,
Heather and Teran

PS: (This is Teran) I've been dabbling in Drupal's Taxonomy module a bit. You can see images tagged as bi-folds or tri-folds seperately, just use the links :-).

Our first production tri-fold on the left:
Still no orders yet, but we're hopeful and ready to take any that come our way :-). I think we are going pretty fast so far. We got a Facebook page up a couple days ago, which is the main purpose for this blog post.

While there have been no orders yet, we recently had a request for a tri-fold wallet which may or may not go through, but if it does, offering a tri-fold  option may come soon(ish). Heather did one experimental tri-fold a while back, but more work needs to be done for the design to be ready. Thanks to Doug for his interest though :-).

So, about Facebook. Check out our Facebook page! And let us know what you think about the wallets in the comments here, or this discussion topic on our Facebook page.

Many thanks for reading and making this all possible.

PS: And many thanks to the 27 or so who have already become fans of HLB Studios on Facebook :-).
Yes, that's right. HLB Studios has launched! We finally made it :-D!

Heather just made the first production wallet with all of the new design changes. She says the new wallet turned out quite well (although taking quite some time for the first one). The wallet should be tougher and more consistent than previous wallets, although please note that we have not sold any through HLB Studios before (Heather used to only sell them privately, in-person).

The site has several quirks and informational mishaps that we will try to work out over the coming days, but none seem to be critical. Paypal is confirmed to work and accepts credit cards or direct transfer from Paypal accounts, and we accept checks via mail or payment in person (through local delivery). I guess we also accept cash in mail, although it might not be the safest.

Many thanks to all who made this possible. I haven't asked Heather, but I'm sure she wants to thank Tucker and Tanner Besosa for introducing her to the many uses of duct tape, her parents for sponsoring her interest initially, and the many others whom she has sold her wallets to.

So, are you ready to order your own duct tape wallet? :-)

Thanks for reading and making Heather's dream possible.

We are quite close with launching the site. Paypal is up and working, shipping quotes work, the duct tape wallet design is (almost) confirmed for a version 1, and we just need to finish our first production order and we'll be ready to go (assuming all goes well and I haven't forgotten anything).

This is mostly just a test, but we are getting somewhere with the site. Orders are just test and not live, but expect things to hopefully work soon-ish.

Cheers!
